Welcome to Pulborough Medical Group
Covid update - 21 October 2021
We are still actively contacting all patients who are due for their Covid Booster vaccination to book appointments. However, if you have received an invitation from NHS England, please do not hesitate to telephone the practice as we now have more appointments available in November.
Covid and Flu update - 14 October 2021
We are actively contacting all patients who are due for their Covid Booster vaccination to book appointments. However, if you have received an invitation from NHS England, please do not hesitate to telephone the practice as we may have some additional capacity in these Covid clinics to book you in.
We are also working hard to ensure that we have sufficient flu vaccines in order to vaccinate all our patients aged 65 or over and are anticipating a delivery of additional vaccines at the end of October. The take up this year for the flu vaccination has been extremely high, therefore we have a waiting list for patients in this age group and if you are still waiting for this vaccine, please telephone the practice to ensure your name is on this list.
Health Survey July 2021
We have sent out health survey links to patients mobile phones and email addresses. This helps us to manage your health and keep your records up to date. The link provided is florey.accurx.com and is genuine. Thank you for your cooperation in completing this survey.
THE COVID-19 VACCINE IS A FREE VACCINATION PROVIDED BY THE NHS. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE ASKED TO PAY FOR THE VACCINE AS THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE VACCINATION SERVICE
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way that we work however our patients continue to need advice and may have problems which mean that they will have to be examined.
During this period
All initial consultations will be made via telephone or a video alternative (i.e. Skype).
If you have a clinical need that needs medical attention our telephone lines remain open from 8am. Our medical reception team will ask some screening questions and if needed will add you to a call back list for a phone call from our clinical team. Due to high volumes of calls there is likely to be a wait and we are unable to give you accurate time for a call back, we ask for your co-operation and support during this time.
Please do not drop off urine samples unless you have been asked to by a clinician as many infections can be dealt with over the phone.
The care and safety of our patients and staff is paramount which is why we have put these precautions in place. With this in mind, all practice staff now wear face coverings in public areas and corridors. The clinical team all wear full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and we ask all patients to wear masks if they need to attend the practice.
Reception has been moved to the ground floor and on arrival, you will have your temperature taken and will be required to use the antibacterial hand gel. We would ask that any patient who has symptoms of a cough or fever, loss of taste or smell or have been in quarantine for 7 days because you have had any of these symptoms or 14 days because of a family member being unwell, please do not attend the practice but let us know.
Thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging period.

Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Access & Parking
There are 2 designated disabled parking spaces at the rear of the new Primary Care Centre and in addition there are disabled parking spaces within the Tesco carpark on a 2 hour restricted stay.
Wheelchairs can access the ground floor via the front entrance and there is a lift to Pulborough Medical Group based on the first floor. There are disabled toilets available on the ground and first floors.
The Tesco car park is shared with Pulborough Primary Care Centre – parking is strictly limited to a maximum period of three hours. The car park is monitored by an electronic device.
Pulborough Medical Group is accredited as a Veteran Friendly Practice
We are delighted to have been officially accredited as an Armed Forces Veteran Friendly GP Practice, offering the necessary health commitments and support required by those patients who have bravely served in our armed forces.
